All of our ranchers are required to enroll in the Naturewell Quality Assurance Program and fully meet it's stringent standards -- signing program compliance affidavits. And any cattle that do not fully meet these strict guidelines are immediately removed.
NO ANTIBIOTICSNaturewell Natural Beef does not administer antibiotics during the final 120 day finishing process. This allows for natural metabolizing to occur, leaving no measurable traces of antibiotic residue in the meat. As part of the Naturewell Quality Assurance Program, we regularly test for the presence of antibiotics. Any positive results and the cattle are removed from the program. |
CORN-FED IN THE MIDWESTIt's a wholesome, natural diet. Cattle in the program fall under strict mandatories -- they're all finished on ranches in the Midwest and fed enriched, corn-based diets. In strict accordance with FDA mandatory feeding guidelines, our cattle are never given any feed that incorporates animal by-products. In addition, through Naturewell Quality Assurance Program, feed is regularly tested to ensure compliance with these federal mandates as well as a preventative measure against the presence of unacceptable pesticide levels. |
NO ADDED HORMONESThe cattle in the Naturewell Natural Beef program are finished in a natural manner -- that's why we do not allow any added hormone or steroid treatments during the final 120 days. Any hormones or steroids that might have been administered are naturally metabolized during the finishing period. In addition, we constantly test for the presence of added hormones and steroids. Any cattle testing positive are removed from the programs. |
HUMANE HANDLINGAll cattle in the Naturewell Natural Beef program are treated in strict accordance to the USDA Humane Handling Standards and Guidelines -- every Naturewell program supplier is required to sign compliance affidavits.
